What is User Experience Designer?
User experience designers are responsible for the development, functionality and usability of a digital product. They utilise the design process to gather and analyse data, conceptualise (wireframe), build, test, improve, launch and monitor digital products for online consumers. They continuously review user data to make subtle or obvious improvements to improve consumer use and interaction with digital products. Their actions have a direct impact on the income generation or engagement level digital products achieve with users.
What is User Experience Design?
User experience design is the process of building digital platforms or products that provide intuitive and meaningful experiences for users. User experience design considers all aspects in the build, function and usage of digital products including layouts and flow, colour and size, fonts and legibility. Designers measure and analyse data, gathered from interactions between the product and user to inform continuous development and improvements.
- Annual enrolments in March, July and November.
Students who complete this course will begin their journey towards becoming specialist User Experience Designers, UX Specialists, and Product Designers in established UX companies or technology innovations teams. They will have an understanding of the basics of UX and how to initiate the design process.
