Cape Town is a multicultural city with a diverse history which is reflected in the Inscape Cape Town Learning Hub. The beautiful city of Cape Town has a strong tradition of supporting design and encouraging local and international design collaborations.

Cape Town was the 2014 World Design Capital and hosts the renowned Design Indaba each year.

The Cape Town Learning Hub is accessible by car, and for those using public transport, there are taxi and bus pick-up points within walking distance from the Learning Hub.

The average day at Inscape Cape Town sees students balancing hard work and play. Lecturers actively facilitate classes and students are engaged, energetic, vocal, and collaborative. The lecturers and staff at Inscape Cape Town have built active relationships with local design businesses and suppliers and students benefit from outings, industry visits, and talks from leading designers and creatives.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) ensures that social aspects of life at our Learning Hub are taken care of. At Inscape we strive to create future design innovators and leaders in their respective fields and encourage students to have some fun along the way.

Learning Hub Life

The Cape Town Learning Hub is a creative and interactive space with studios that include 360° speakers, studio computers, and HD projectors for an immersive learning experience. It features a workshop for hands-on creation and design, complemented by a comprehensive library and a materials sample collection for exploration. The student lounge, equipped with comfortable couches, free coffee, and tea, and a foosball table, offers a perfect blend of collaboration, relaxation, and recreational activities to unwind and connect.

The Learning Hub is open from 07:00 – 17:00, on most weekdays. Students take full advantage of the free Wi-Fi on site which allows them to research using the online library, access LinkedIn Learning tutorials and check their assignments on Grammarly.
